Power is the first decision. The Outdoor 4 runs for up to two years on AA lithium batteries. The Battery Extension Pack stretches that to up to four years. If there’s an outlet nearby, the 13 ft weather-resistant power adapter removes battery changes entirely.
Height beats everything. Cameras mounted high are harder to tamper with and see more of the yard. A gutter mount gets you that height without drilling into siding.
Indoor cameras can watch outside. Pointing a camera through glass normally shows only reflections, especially at night when infrared bounces back. A window mount like Wyze’s blocks the glare so an indoor camera can see the driveway clearly.
Check compatibility. Blink accessories are model-specific. The Mini Pan-Tilt Mount, for example, only fits the original Blink Mini, not the Mini 2.
